Innovator of the Entrepreneurial Community
I am Finland’s most inspiring and change-embracing entrepreneur. My vision is a more entrepreneur-friendly Finland, where old and new entrepreneurs can succeed and grow if they wish. I want to lead The Federation of Finnish Enterprises towards concrete actions that help the entrepreneurial community renew and flourish.
And that’s why I am running for Vice Chairman of The Federation of Finnish Enterprises.
What is the SY perspective?
Do we need a shared worldview? Not every issue advocated by The Federation of Finnish Enterprises is positive for every entrepreneur. How do we form our stances on issues?
Digital Strategy
Our most important document for the next 4 years: without data, there is no effective AI, and at the same time, without SY’s functional systems, there is no data in the regions / locally.
Let’s hold the Y-Owner Days
Regional organizations & industry organizations “own” The Federation of Finnish Enterprises – when have the owners discussed their ownership strategy and the future of SY?
Role of the Vice Chairman
The role of the Vice Chairman should be clarified by assigning clear areas of responsibility. For example, EU affairs to one and industry organizations to another – naturally, considering the individual’s strengths.
Decentralize SY
Now that remote work is an accepted form of employment, why are we concentrating all SY experts in Helsinki? There are also offices in the regions, and Finland is > Helsinki.
Commercialize The Federation of Finnish Enterprises
For example: BNI is nice for morning people, but consider what kind of “internal market” exists within The Federation of Finnish Enterprises? Why are we afraid to be commercial, even with each other?

As a native of Parikkala (or an islander), after Vuokatti high school and Utti jumps, I naturally settled in Pori after Joensuu, Brussels, Tallinn, St. Petersburg, and Lappeenranta. From there, after serving on the boards of Pori and Satakunta, I became chairman of young entrepreneurs, and now Vice Chairman of The Federation of Finnish Enterprises starting October 2024.
